HarrtzStone restored the finish of this showroom installation. Years of customer traffic had left the marble scratched and dull. With a new showroom addition opening in a few weeks, the owners wanted the existing showroom cleaned and restored to like-new condition.
The marble floor was cleaned, and then the scratches were ground down with a series of metal and diamond grinding wheels. The original high polish was restored with polishing compound and then thoroughly cleaned. HartzStone used floor machines on the large tiles but used hand machines on the mosaic border and near the walls.
The result is a clean, hard polish that reveals the inherent beauty of the marble.
